Opening in the summer of 2019, the new and exciting ICC Wales will accommodate up to 5,000 delegates and has taken inspiration from the world’s best convention centres.
Apart from being brand new and the first of its kind in Wales and the South West, ICC Wales will have some amazing USPs when it opens next year. The 4,000 square metre main hall will be Europe’s largest pillar-free ballroom capable of holding 2,400 guests for a gala dinner.
An £84m joint venture between Celtic Manor Resort and Welsh Government, ICC Wales will also house a 1,500-seated auditorium, 15 flexible meeting rooms, a double-height glass atrium and a 2,500 sqm outdoor plaza.
The venue is just a stone’s throw from Junction 24 of the M4, making accessibility a real asset, yet it is situated in ancient woodland with floor to ceiling meeting room windows and outdoor breakout areas making the most of the stunning natural environment.
Wales is really untapped as a destination for business events as it has always lacked a venue like ICC Wales so we are excited to be working with many partners including Welsh Government to deliver an exceptional Team Wales offering to event organisers and delegates.
